Big Bang!


Everything appears to be moving away from us - are we at the center?
No! - every place is the "center".
If everything is moving away from everything else some time in the past was everything on "top of one another"?
Yes! - Winding the clock back we reach a time of infinite density - the Big Bang!
Assuming constant expansion, the age of the Universe is 14 billion years.
Using light we can only see back as far as the time when the Universe stopped being plasma - before that it was opaque.
